What do Deploying Soldiers and their Spouses Need?

Click here for more info...Ft. Lewis, the Army, and the Secretary of Defense want to hear from service members and their spouses about the types of needs they have before, during, and after deployments. If you are a soldier or spouse of a soldier who has returned from deployment within the past year, and you are 18 years or older, you are invited to participate in a voluntary and confidential survey.

The survey takes about 25 minutes to complete: that may seem like a long time, until you consider that the survey is intended to learn enough about the last two years of your life to help ensure that policies and support programs are able to meet the needs of all types of soldiers and families.

This survey is being tested in just a few select locations, so your participation will also help to develop a tool that could be used to routinely assess how well soldier and family needs are being met across the deployment cycle.

If you would like to take this survey online please visit: http://militaryfamilysurvey.rand.org . If you would prefer to take this survey by phone, please call toll free 1-800-631-0702 between 6 am and 9 pm Pacific and give the operator reference number 4327.

This survey is being conducted for the Army and OSD by the RAND Corporation, an independent, non-profit research institution. For more information about RAND, visit www.rand.org.

Tell us how we are doing... We want to serve you better.

The 1ST Corps Commanding General has directed the Inspector General to assess Soldier and Family Member’s experience while in-processing the installation. This survey will be used by the CG to determine the quality of customer service experienced while in-processing. Your participation is confidential and should only take a couple minutes to complete.

Just go to: http://www.lewis.army.mil/ig/surveys/In-Processing/index.htm
